ACCC Clears Way for Metcash’s Home Timber & Hardware Acquisition

Metcash has been given the green light for its acquisition of Woolworths’ Home Timber & Hardware (HTH) from the competition watchdog, setting the scene for a marriage between the Mitre 10 and the HTH networks and the rise of a powerful new No.2 force in Australian hardware.
