Metcash settles with ATO over tax bill
Metcash is believed to have reached a multimillion-dollar settlement with the Australian Taxation Office over unpaid fringe benefits tax from its "overseas study tours".
It’s not clear how much Metcash has agreed to pay, but it’s understood to be more than $2 million following the conclusion of negotiations with the ATO.
