Coles enters mobile phone market

Supermarket giant Coles has joined the growing list of big-name brands selling mobile services to their customers.
The company on Monday announced it would resell prepaid mobile services using the Singtel-Optus network with prices starting at $10. These will have access to 4G services as well as unlimited calls on certain plans.
Coles joins an increasingly crowded field with its chief groceries rival launching Woolworths Connect in June, which offers 3G services on the Telstra network. Online retailer Kogan is also expected to launch a partnership that includes mobile services with Vodafone Hutchison Australia later today.  Sydney Morning Herald – Read more…
