In the lead up to Christmas, food coach Judy Davie has partnered with Iberogast to compile ten tips to help Aussies manage their health throughout the festive season.

1. Drink plenty of water throughout the day and night

Heat and alcohol combined is a recipe for dehydration and a horrible hangover to follow.

If you are drinking alcohol in hot weather, aim to drink at least three glasses of water to every one glass of alcohol. For optimum rehydration, try adding a pinch of good quality sea salt and a dash of apple juice to your water.

2. Ditch digestive discomfort
