Laundys and Woolworths’ 30-pub deal worth $500m

PUB owners the Laundy family and Woolworths are to create a $500 million joint venture of an initial 30 pubs after this week receiving the green light from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.


On Monday the Laundy family and the Australian Leisure and Hospitality Group (ALH), 75 per cent owned by Woolworths, settled the sale of the lease covering 19 hotels across NSW as part of the first tranche of a 30-pub transaction.  Sydney Morning Herald – Read more…
