Chemists double dip on check-ups

PHARMACIES are set to receive more than $2 million in incentives from the state government to conduct health checks that already attract federal government payments.


The money, part of a $7 million program, makes good on a promise by the Coalition before the NSW election that it would fund the delivery of the National Stroke Foundation’s ”Know Your Numbers” campaign, which promotes blood pressure readings at community pharmacies.
