Priceline’s new prescription model not without risks: Guild

A new ‘fixed price-point’ model being adopted by Priceline pharmacies, offering $5.99 private scripts, comes with some risks, the Pharmacy Guild of Australia believes.

Kos Sclavos, Guild national president, has warned pharmacists who are considering following Priceline into a price-point system, that they could end up being stuck selling prescriptions at a set price, even if costs go up.
