Pie maker worried about private labels
The maker of Four’N Twenty meat pies is the latest food manufacturer to complain that private labels of the supermarket giants are placing their profits under pressure.

Patties Foods, which also produces Herbert Adams and Nanna’s brands, today warned of continued tough trading conditions in the second half of the year as the home brands of Coles and Woolworths threaten to steal their lunch.
