Metcash to take control of Mitre 10

Grocery wholesaler Metcash expects to postn a modest rise in full year underlying earnings – and plans to take fulln ownership of the Mitre 10 hardware brand.

nMetcash already holds a controlling 50.1 per cent interest in Mitre 10, nand would buy the remaining stake if the hardware chain’s results for nthe year to June 30 met expectations, Metcash CEO Andrew Reitzer said onn Wednesday.
