Food giant trials touch-screen vending concept

Kraft Foods has rolled out an innovative new vending solution in Melbourne with touch screens that help consumers choose products and view valuable product information.

It’s an Australian first – and as part of a pilot program to test the new vending technology in the country.

Initially developed by the company for its North American market, Diji-touch machines have operated in the US for over 12 months and are now at located at Melbourne Airport, Monash University and Melbourne Museum.  Inside Retailing – Read more…
