Pfizer hits out at ‘misleading’ Lipitor claims

Pfizer Australia is using mainstream newspapers to counter consumer confusion over the status of Lipitor (atorvastatin) following rumours that the drug is no longer available.​


Dr Bill Ketelbey, Pfizer Australia’s country medical director, said the company had placed a community service notification in a number of newspapers after it received almost three times the usual number of calls to its helpline in the last month, due to concerns that Lipitor was no longer available or had been replaced.​ Pharmacy News – Read More​
