Woolworths shuffles its leadership as it looks beyond supermarkets

Supermarket giant Woolworths has reshuffled its senior management team and introduced a number of new roles which serve to highlight the growing importance of the retailer’s non-supermarket businesses.

Announced on Tuesday, Woolworths has transplanted its current head of New Zealand supermarkets Natalie Davis to head up the Australian supermarkets division. Ms Davis is a former McKinsey partner and has been with Woolworths since 2015.

Claire Peters is stepping out of the role of running Woolworths’ 1000 supermarkets into a new position which includes overseeing Big W.
