TGA plans OTC ad reforms

THE Therapeutic Goods Administration has outlined proposals to reform the current “pre-approval” system for advertisements for OTC products,
as well as improve the efficiency of  the complaints handling process.


According to a presentation at last week’s CHC advertising seminar
by TGA Director, Recalls and Advertising Review, Mick O’Connor, the aim is to create a “robust and effective system of advertising controls” to communicate truth about products and enhance health outcomes for Australians. Pharmacy Daily – Read More.
