Basic wage hike likely to spur inflation
"We are not opposing increases in income, but it needs to be thought out carefully and depends on the market mechanism because if incomes rise, it will result in increased living costs," said Payungsak Chartsutthipol, chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI).
