Woolworths plans to open at least 20 new stores and refurbish 40 existing stores in Victoria by 2018, investing around $150 million. This will create more than 2,000 ongoing retail jobs as well as supporting 1,000 construction jobs during development.
The plans extend to include new infrastructure, bring the total investment to more than $650 million over the next three years.
