Coles chief John Durkan to take retail battle up to Woolworths

Incoming Coles boss John Durkan will waste no time taking the fight to Woolworths, signalling prospects of a fresh price war across the supermarket aisles this year and a review of his laggard liquor stores to peel customers from Woolies’ dominant Dan Murphy’s chain.
