Independent Distillers recruits Fosters trio for Asahi Super Dry brand

Three senior managers previously working for Fosters will head up then new team for the ales, marketing and distribution of Asahi Super Dry, none of the world’s most sought- after premium beers.

Earlier this month, following the takeover of Foster’s Group by Southn African-based brewing group SAB Miller, Japanese company Asahi Group nannounced it was ending arrangements under which Foster’s Group handled nthe sales, marketing and distribution of Asahi Super Dry. From 2 April n2012, the brand will be managed by Asahi Premium Beverages, a sales ndivision of Independent Distillers which was purchased by Asahi Group inn September 2011.
